Privacy Policy
Last updated June 23, 2026
mise is a personal tool a dinner-party host uses to plan meals and invite guests. This policy explains what we collect when you accept an invitation, and how your phone number is handled. Questions? Email alexander.k.white@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your name and mobile number, when you fill out an invite.
- Your dining preferences — diet, allergies, dislikes, spice and portion — so your host can cook something you'll enjoy.
- A note to the cook, if you choose to leave one.
How we use it
- To set your place at the table and share your dining preferences with the host who invited you.
- To send a one-time verification code confirming the number is yours, and to let your host text you occasional updates about the dinner (timing, confirmations, what to bring).
Text messaging & your mobile number
When you provide your mobile number and save your place, you consent to receive SMS messages as described in our Terms & Messaging Policy. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The phone numbers and consent we collect for text messaging are never sold, rented, or shared with any third parties. We use Twilio solely to deliver these messages on the host's behalf; text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with anyone else.
Retention & your choices
Your host can update or delete your profile at any time, and you can ask the host who invited you to remove your information. To reach us directly, email alexander.k.white@gmail.com.
